Getting arrested is just about the most traumatic event most people ever experience. I know this is true from personal experience and from the thousands of people I have represented in court since 1999. I also know that most people are confused about what can happen to them, what might happen to them and what is likely to happen to them. A visit with me can help clear up a lot of confusion and it will not cost you a cent!
I am a member of the National College for DUI Defense, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Cobb Bar Association, the Stonewall Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Commerce Club of Georgia. I completed high school at Bishop England High School in Charleston, South Carolina. I was graduated from Clemson University (B.A.) in 1994 and Georgia State University College of Law (J.D.) in 1999.
Over the years, I have worked for the government at the federal (Department of Justice internship), state and local (prosecutor and later public defender) levels. I have significant experience in criminal and domestic litigation. However, while I am competent in the field of domestic relations, I take much more pleasure out of defending people’s Constitutional rights than I do assisting at the death bed of a marriage.
You need an experienced professional who has been around long enough to give you realistic advice and competent representation.
If you don't think you need a lawyer when the state wants to lock you up, pay close attention to this short review of the Bill of Rights. Do you know what it means to be "secure" from unlawful search and seizure? Are you sure the police had "probable cause" to arrest you?
